Give Well.
Shop Better.

Every purchase funds programs that restore hope, provide shelter, and strengthen families across our community.

About Us

A neighborhood store with a mission.

The Salvation Army Family Stores in Smithfield has been a steady presence on Brightleaf Boulevard for decades — a place where neighbors come for quality goods at honest prices, and where every dollar spent stays local.

Our store is staffed by dedicated volunteers and supported by the broader work of The Salvation Army, one of the oldest and largest charitable organizations in the United States. We offer gently used clothing, household items, books, electronics, and occasional furniture finds — all priced so that anyone can afford them.

When you shop with us, you're not just finding a deal. You're supporting emergency shelter, rehabilitation center funding, disaster relief, and senior services right here in the community.

Our Impact

Your shopping dollars do real work.

Revenue from our Smithfield store flows directly into programs that change lives — locally and beyond.

  • Community Programs Youth services, senior assistance, and adult rehabilitation support throughout the region.
  • Disaster Relief Rapid-response aid for communities hit by storms, fires, and other emergencies.
